Privacy Policy

Narlo LLC (“Narlo,” “we,” “us”) provides AI-powered missed-call recovery software to service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our services.

What this covers

This policy applies to:

  • Subscriber businesses who sign up for Narlo and use our software (“Subscribers”)
  • End-users who call a Subscriber's business and receive SMS messages from Narlo on the Subscriber's behalf (“End-Users”)
  • Visitors to narlo.ai

Information we collect

From Subscribers

When a Subscriber signs up, we collect: business name, business address, phone number, email, EIN or other tax ID, owner contact information, and information about services offered (used to configure their AI). We also collect payment information processed through Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

From End-Users

When an End-User calls a Subscriber's business and the call goes unanswered, we receive: the End-User's phone number, the time of the call, and any voicemail content. When our AI sends a text message to the End-User and they reply, we receive: the content of their messages, photos they choose to send, and information they share (such as address, problem description, scheduling preferences).

Automatic data collection on narlo.ai

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and authenticate logged-in users. We use analytics tools to understand site traffic.

How we use information

Subscriber information

We use Subscriber information to: provide our services (provision phone numbers, configure their AI, send job notifications), process payments, send service-related communications, and improve our product.

End-User information

We use End-User information solely to enable the conversation between the End-User and our AI on behalf of the Subscriber. The End-User's phone number is used to send and receive SMS messages. Conversation content is shared with the Subscriber business so they can fulfill the requested service.

We do NOT:

  • Use End-User data for advertising
  • Sell End-User information to third parties
  • Send End-Users marketing messages on Narlo's behalf
  • Share End-User information with anyone other than the Subscriber business they called

SMS messaging specifics

When an End-User receives a text message from a Narlo-provisioned number on behalf of a Subscriber business:

  • The End-User initiated contact by calling the Subscriber's business
  • The End-User can reply STOP at any time to immediately opt out of all further messages
  • The End-User can reply HELP to receive assistance
  • We comply with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and CTIA messaging best practices
  • Message and data rates may apply per the End-User's mobile carrier
  • Mobile information is never sold or shared with third-party affiliates

How we share information

We share information with:

  • Subscribers — End-User conversation content with the Subscriber business they contacted
  • Service providers — Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS/voice), Anthropic (AI), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Deepgram (transcription). These providers process information solely to perform their services for us.
  • Law enforcement — when required by valid legal process
  • In connection with a sale or merger — successor entity inherits this Privacy Policy

Data retention

  • Subscriber account data: retained as long as the Subscriber maintains an active account, plus 7 years for tax/legal records
  • End-User conversation data: retained for 24 months after the conversation, then deleted unless the Subscriber has converted the conversation to an active customer relationship
  • Site analytics: retained for 14 months

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of certain types of processing

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@narlo.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

End-Users can request deletion of their conversation history by replying STOP and emailing privacy@narlo.ai with their phone number.

Security

We use encryption at rest and in transit for sensitive data, including OAuth tokens, payment information, and conversation content. We follow industry-standard security practices.

Children's privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be announced to active Subscribers via email.
